The gym on
Clark Street

2,600 square feet in Tarzana with a full ring, a floor full of bags and weights, a back workout room and an outdoor training area.

Kaminsky Boxing is on Clark Street in Tarzana, minutes from Ventura Boulevard and the 101, and a short drive from Encino, Reseda, Woodland Hills and Sherman Oaks. It's a working boxing gym. There's a ring in the middle of it, bags around the edges, weights, mirrors and an outdoor area for when the sun's out.

The same floor takes kids after school, adults before and after work, and fighters getting ready to compete. That mix is the point — beginners learn faster in a room where real boxing is happening, and nobody here has any interest in making a first-timer feel out of place.

The coaching is hands-on. You'll be on the mitts, you'll get corrected, and you'll be told why. Whether that's a ten-year-old learning to keep their guard up or a professional sharpening up for a fight, the approach doesn't change: fundamentals first, then everything else.

What's on the floor

  • Full boxing ring for rounds, mitt work and sparring
  • Heavy bags and mirrors across the main floor
  • Weight training equipment for strength and conditioning
  • Back workout room for circuits and warm-ups
  • Outdoor training area for running, footwork and conditioning
  • Dressing room and restrooms on site
  • Room for up to 60 people — which is why we can host group bookings

Who trains here

Five days a week,
morning and night

Complete beginners

Adults who've never boxed make up a big part of the morning and evening classes. You'll be taught from stance up, in a group that's used to new people.

Kids and teens

Two after-school groups at 5 and 6 PM, Monday to Friday. Technique, conditioning and discipline, taught properly.

People training for fitness

An hour of boxing is an hour of work. Plenty of members are here for the conditioning first and the skill second — that's fine by us.

Amateur and professional boxers

Competing fighters train here too, with ring rounds, sparring and corner work built around their fight dates.
